Swiss downhill ski building tradition started back in early 1893 by wood work artisans who had built their specialized skills over hundreds of years to master commute in their harsh mountain conditions.

Perfecting their new downhill skiing passion in the demanding Swiss mountain environment and the experience drawn since the first days of downhill ski racing put Swiss ski master-builders into the lead.

Financial crisis end 20th century forced Swiss ski ateliers to end their activities or were sold to multi-national conglomerates, who due to financial backings were able to survive with scale effects of mass production.

Swiss true artesian skills to hand make skis had been buried and the incomparable sensation to ride a hand crafted ski had been long forgotten.
